An overview of our community training
As part of our Community Care Program, Puckett EMS offers several community training programs. The faster a patient receives emergency care, the better the chances that the patient will survive. Training the public on how to react to a medical emergency will increase the patients chance of surviving.

CPR Training

Puckett EMS has instructors certified by the American Heart Association. We are now offering FREE Family Community CPR Classes:

For a victim in cardiac arrest, every minute that CPR is NOT being performed, the victims chances of survival drops by 10%. What if someone you loved went into cardiac arrest? Would you know what to do? Let us teach you.

Heart Saver
Class is for the general public

• Skills:
• Adult and child, one and two rescuer CPR
• Infant CPR
• How to clear a Foreign Body Airway Obstruction
• Each person will receive a free "Family and Friends - CPR Anytime" kit. Each kit includes an instructional DVD along with a reusable Mini Anne mannequin to practice on in the privacy of your own home.

Healthcare Provider
Class is for any Healthcare Provider

• Skills:
  • Advanced anatomy and physiology
  • Adult and child, one and two rescuer CPR
  • Infant CPR
  • Foreign Body Airway Obstruction (Heimlich Maneuver)
• Cost: $50

Pediatric CPR
This class teaches skills to be used with children ages newborn to 8 years old.

  • Child, one and two rescuer CPR
  • Infant and child Foreign Body Airway Obstruction (Heimlich Maneuver)

First Aid Training

First there...First Care. Don't you want to know what to do if you are the first one there? Medical Emergencies happen all around us. Be prepared by having first aid training.

Custom Medical Training

Let our instructors develop a custom medical program for your group or business needs. We can offer programs like:

Group Training

Our professional educators have taught many groups. They have designed programs for the Boy and Girl Scouts for their merit badges, taught CPR to the local elementary schools and performed ambulance demonstrations for daycare centers. Let our professionals design a training program for your group!
