Puckett EMS Mourns the Loss of Buford “Bo” Cameron
It is with sympathy and great sadness that we announce the passing of Buford “Bo” Cameron. Bo passed away on Thursday, February 15th.
Bo was a longstanding member of the emergency medical services family, dedicating his life to helping those in need, starting his career in public safety at just seventeen with the East Ridge Fire Department. Throughout his career he served in numerous public safety positions including as a Reserve Police Officer for the community of Ridge Side in Hamilton County, and an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician with Puckett EMS, Life-Force Ground, Lifeguard Ambulance Service and AMR. He was a founding member of the TC Thompsons Children’s Hospital Neonatal Transport team.
“Bo never met a stranger and was a friend to all. His contagious smile and compassionate spirit always guided his way,” said Jake Lonas, Vice President of Operations for Puckett EMS. “The entire EMS community will sorely miss Bo. Our prayers are with his family, friends, and co-workers during this challenging time.”
