Become a Priority EMT

Become a certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) through Priority-sponsored EMT Academies or local educational institutions.

Work as an EMT in the Priority Family

Begin working as an EMT within the Priority family of companies – 11 companies with operational hubs in eight states.

Become a Priority Paramedic

Become a certified Paramedic through a company-sponsored Paramedic Academy. Opportunity to provide higher levels of emergency medical care and advanced patient interventions.

Work Toward Paramedic Promotion

Work as a paramedic with a goal toward promotion. Paramedic promotion opportunities include Paramedic Supervisor and/or Field Training Officer.

Complete Priority-Sponsored Management Training

Apply for company-sponsored management training with an eye toward promotion to Operations Manager; complete Ambulance Services Manager classes.

Promote to Operations Manager

Complete company-sponsored Executive Training, earn a promotion to Operations Manager, and apply for company-sponsored executive leadership training through the Priority Ambulance Leadership Foundation.

Paramedic Scholar Program

Take your EMS career to the next level through our Paramedic Scholar Program. We’re offering current EMTs the chance to get paramedic certification for FREE with a flexible work schedule built around your studies. Plus, you’ll get paid for investing in your EMS education. 

By advancing your certification level, you could earn 30-50% more than your current salary and open new opportunities for advancement in EMS, public safety and health care. 

The Paramedic Scholar Program removes some key barriers to advancement. We’ll pay tuition, reimburse cost of materials and provide an additional stipend for your weekly classroom/study time.

LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION

The Priority Ambulance family of companies values EMS leadership and recognizes that commitment through the Priority Ambulance Leadership Foundation. The Foundation has developed a unique and distinctive path for career advancement to promising EMS leaders of the future. The year-long EMS Leadership of Tomorrow program offers educational and mentoring opportunities to qualified professionals in and outside of the EMS industry. Hands-on coursework is taught during weeklong sessions hosted quarterly at various locations throughout the country.
